We are proud to announce that thanks to the County Commission and the DeKalb County School board, we now have a School Resource Officer in all County High Schools. Sheriff Harris said,"This has been a goal of mine since 2006. Taking office in 2007 we only had (3) three School Resource Officers and now we have (8) eight. Our vision now is to work toward having a School Resource Officer at Ruhama, Moonlake and Henagar schools. We do rotate the School Resource Officers that we have to these schools to check on them and teach the D.A.R.E. Program."
