Sheriff Jimmy Harris reports that on May 16th the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office received a call that OnStar had the location of a stolen vehicle on County Road 359 in the Whiton community. When Deputies, Alabama State Troopers, and Fyffe Police Officers arrived at the residence it was confirmed that this was the stolen vehicle. Albertville Police called a towing company to tow the vehicle back to the owner. Shaneyfelt was arrested and charged with Possession of Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Shaneyfelt was transported to the DeKalb County Detention Center where he remains awaiting bond. Damion Ferguson was also arrested on outstanding charges in Albertville and was taken into custody by Albertville Police Department.
